One of the things I loved most about these trails is that they're accessible for a wide range of travelers. My children, ages 11, 8, and 4, all completed the hikes. Did they complain on the way up? Absolutely. Did they love the adventure and talk about the views afterward? Also absolutely.

Visit Les Jardins d'Étretat

They make walking in and out of the water much more comfortable and allow you to spend more time enjoying the beach and less time tiptoeing across the stones.

Even if swimming isn't on your agenda, the beach is the perfect place to sit, enjoy the salty air, and watch the changing light over the water.

Sometimes the best activity in Étretat is simply slowing down long enough to appreciate where you are.

Normandy is known for its seafood, dairy, and pastries, and Étretat is the perfect place to indulge in all three.

L'Huîtrière

My pick for the best pizza in town. Fresh, handcrafted pizzas and a relaxed atmosphere make it the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking the cliffs or exploring Étretat.

Maison Piquenot

If you're anything like me and love waking up early to wander through town in search of fresh bread and pastries, make a stop at Maison Piquenot.

The aroma of butter and warm pastries fills the street before you even reach the door. Croissants, pain au chocolat, and other sweet treats line the cases each morning.

And yes, it was so sweet that even the bees seemed to know where to find breakfast, arriving daily as if they were regular customers too.
